Exclusive and Committed
Gentlemen, take out your wallets! This is when spending the big bucks is not only appropriate but necessary — depending on your woman, of course. That’s the key to giving the perfect gift to your girlfriend of eight months or your wife of five years. Get a thoughtful gift that is specific to her tastes whether it is from Godiva or Michael Kors. Yanira Garza, a makeup artist from Chicago, says her husband knows the way to her heart and it’s not with an expensive gift. “My husband has bought me Candy Runts every year since we’ve been together,” she said. “They’re my favorite candy and are only out that time of year.” It doesn’t cost much but is something that Garza loves. “They are getting harder to find so I know he makes an effort to get them and that’s what matters.”
So, effort, the right message, and careful thought is what you need to make your sweetie smile brightly on Valentine’s Day. Just make sure the message fits where you are and what you want from the relationship. If not, you better run for cover.
