No Neymar, no problem. Well not exactly. But a Brazilian team did enough to defeat Switzerland to advance to the knock out stage of World Cup action. It was however, a jittery affair for Team Brazil.

In the first half, Brazil peppered Switzerland’s defense with multiple shots on goal but nothing went through. Halftime stood at 0-0. It was not until the 64th minute, when Vinícius Júnior appeared to score for Brazil. Yet, adding to Brazil’s string of bad luck, the goal was overturned by Richarlison’s offside position.

However, in the 83rd minute of the match, Carlos Casemiro put one in to the top corner. Casemiro was at the heart of this Brazil performance and shot his shot when it came his way.

Let’s hope they can rustle up more spirit in the next go around. They will certainly need it if they are to go deep into this tourney. Until then check out the highlights here.
