What can be said about the first all-Latina cast in television history? Despite being lauded in the media for rehashing the “Latina as a maid” stereotypes, this standout ensemble cast which includes actresses Ana Ortiz, Judy Reyes, Roselyn Sanchez and Dania Ramirez are distinguishing themselves for their versatility and telling stories which show that domestic servants have lives, which are layered with dreams, hopes and complexity.

Now, it doesn’t hurt that they look hot and are hysterical all the while. Apparently television audiences agree because the show was renewed for a second season and is set to return in April of 2014. We can’t wait to see what drama arises this year and how hot they will look while it ensues.
