Today Warner Bros. dropped a second trailer for the highly anticipated Sopranos prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark.
In this trailer we get a better look at Dickie Moltesanti, Tony’s uncle and the man who made him who he is. Much like his now famous nephew, we see Dickie struggle to balance conscience with the demands of his family and business life. All the while serving as a mentor to Tony.
The Many Saints of Newark is set in 1960’s New Jersey during the Newark riots, giving the film a classic and nostalgic look at organized crime. The trailer also provides some funny forshadowing moments which fans of The Sopranos will recognize and love.
The Many Saints of Newark opens on October 1, 2021 in theaters and on HBOMax. Until then check out the trailer here.
