Karol G just keeps winning. One track at a time, one video at a time, one appearance at a time she’s been on the takeover of reggaeton. Don’t believe us, her latest video is proof positive. In “Mi Cama” the rising reggaetonera from Colombia struts down the streets of Medellin in bright outfits along to a Balvin like electro beat.
The title to the track may sound sexual but Ms. G feels otherwise. In speaking about the themes to the video, she told BillBoard.com “really, the question is: When you have a new boyfriend, what happens? The bed makes noise and makes noise. And if it stops making noise, that’s pretty sad.” But in “Mi Cama,” the noise doesn’t come from the bed. To understand what we mean check out the visuals below:
