The first look at Eddie’ Murphy’s sequel to Coming to America, aptly titled Coming 2 America dropped today.
Over 30 years later Murphy reprises his role of Prince Akeem, now a newly crowned King. He along with his trusted advisor Semmi, played by Arsenio Hall, also returning to the fold, must return to where it started in Queens, New York. Their mission to find Akeem’s son.
Murphy and Hall played multiple roles in the original, and by the looks of the trailer will do so again. The sequel boasts an all star cast in the form of returning actors such as James Earl Jones as King Jaffe Joffer, Shari Headley as Queen Lisa, John Amos as her father Cleo McDowell, and Louie Anderson as Maurice. New additions to the film include Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones and Tracy Morgan.
