The final trailer for DC’s stand along Joker film was released today. All we can say is whoa! Lots of new footage to view. The more we see, the more it seems to channel the Nolan Batman films, in terms of grittiness and more importanty understanding the man behind the mask (or in this case face paint).
This was the official synopsis that was released:
Joker centers around the iconic arch-nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
