UFC 261 goes down this Saturday, April 24th in Jacksonville, Florida. The main event is the rematch between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal.
In the first meeting between Usman and Masvidal, Usman dominated, but Masvidal lasted and even broke Usman’s nose. Not bad for taking a fight on six days notice. However, Masvidal has been lean pretty heavily on his built reason for the loss. Hence the rematch. No more excuses if Usman emerges victorious. It will be interesting to see how Masvidal performs with a full training camp under his belt. Even more interesting? Dana White has said the winner of the bout gets Colby Covington next. Covington, while talented, has become more noteworthy for antics outside the octagon rather than it.
