Although the film is two months away from its September premiere. Marvel is teasing audiences with another look at it’s first full feature foray into martial arts with Shang-Chi & The Legend of the Ten Rings.

The first trailer dropped in April. The latest trailer more impressive than the last. From the fight sequences, to the special effects and cast it appears Marvel is putting its best foot forward on this outing and taking it seriously (akin to the treatment provided to Black Panther).

Created by Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin in 1973 during America’s ’70s kung fu craze. Originally the son of vintage villain (and racist stereotype) Fu Manchu. In the update Marvel is losing all the stereotypes associated with the culture and character and giving the material the seriousness and authenticity it deserves.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set for release on September 3rd. Until then check out the trailer here.
