Which bones should I use?

“It’s very important for the bones to come from organic, grass-fed/pastured animals,” says Castro. “You want a combination of meat bones, joints, necks, feet/hooves. If that’s too intimidating, a good starting point is to use the carcass of your roasted whole chicken.”

Simple Chicken Crockpot Bone Broth Recipe

2 lbs. of bones
1 gallon purified water
2 large carrots, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 sweet onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar (essential to draw out nutrients)
1/2 Tbsp. sea salt
1 clove garlic

Add veggies and bones to crockpot, fill with water. Cover and cook on low for 24 hours. Strain everything out including veggies and enjoy a mug!
