Good Girl Gone Bad, Gone Good, Gone Bad…

MIA MAESTRO

Not many actresses can so expertly straddle the worlds of indie cinema and studio summer popcorn fare, but Argentine beauty Mia Maestro pulls it off quite nicely. Whether its traversing Latin America with Gael Garcia Bernal in The Motorcycle Diaries, kicking ass on Alias or vamping it up in the Twilight films, Maestro seems quite at home – and looks good doing it. In 2014 she did it yet again, first in the indie film Grand Street, but also going vampire hunting in Guillermo Del Toro’s post apocalyptic sci-fi series The Strain on FX. In between acting projects she also found time to add songwriter and vocalist to her resume with the release of her debut album Si Agua. 2015 looks to be no different, as she is rumored to appear in Gardel, about 1920’s Argentine tango sensation, and return to role of Nora Martinez in the new season of The Strain. Oh did we mention she looks good doing it?
