DC Comics follows up their successful DC FanDome with a second installment on Saturday, September 12th.  Entitled DC FanDome Explore the Multiverse, fans will once again be treated to a 24-hour event featuring new panels that focus on DC’s television properties, cosplay, fan art and more.

DC however is also bringing diversity and inclusion that the latest generation of comic books have come to represent. DC FanDome Explore the Multiverse will include a number of panels and seminars tapping into Latino geek culture. We’ve curated the schedule and here are just a few of the events LatinxGeeks can look forward to.

Diane_Guerrero_Doom_Patrol

Diane Guerrero, one of the stars of Doom Patrol and Ben Lopez, executive director of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), will discuss what it’s like being Latinx in Hollywood, playing a superhero, and how they both harness the power of their voice to effect change! Guerrero has long been a talented actress featured in shows such as Orange Is the New Black and Jane the Virgin. Yet, she’s been an activist just as long. Advocating on issues from voting rights to immigration. So, her voice on this panel should prove to be as informative as it will be entertaining.
