The final season of Power is set to premiere August 25th. The marketing machine is revving up. We already saw a first look trailer in July. Now, this week the Starz Network released, not one but two new teasers. Why so special? There is clearly a marketing message in play. Yet, instead of Batman v. Superman, we get Ghost v. Tommy. That’s right, it looks as if the life long friends, business partners and family, James “Ghost” St. Patrick and Tommy Egan will go head to head in the final season. Not a surprise given the way last season ended. Tommy essentially looked to take out either Ghost, the love of Ghost life – Angela or perhaps even both!
Who will be left standing at the end? Any fan of Power will tell you over six seasons unpredictability is a hallmark of the show. So whether it is a true battle royal has yet to be determined.
