Nuestra Historia, Nuestra Gente! This was the theme of the 2023 National Dominican Day Parade. What a parade it was. Celebrating its 41st year, the history and people of the Dominican Republic were on full display on 6thAvenue in New York City on Sunday.
This year’s parade notched more than its share of highlights. For the first time in its history in attendance at the parade was the President of the Dominican Republic – Luis Abinader. Marching down Sixth Avenue alongside Congressman Adriana Espaillat. Other noteworthy attendees were the King and Queen of the Parade. DJ Adoni and reggaeton sensation Natti Natasha.
