Manny Pacquiao battled Keith Thurman last night and came out on top with a split decision victory. In the process he made boxing history by becoming the oldest fighter to win a welterweight crown. Though Thurman asserted himself in round 1, landing cleaner more effective shots, a flash punch by Pacquiao late in the round knocked Thurman down. From there on, Pacquiao controlled the early rounds. Yet, Thurman came back to form and seemed to take rounds 5 to 10. A rally by Pacquiao in the championship rounds seemed to be enough to eeek out the victory. Check out the highlights here.
