Conor McGregor has been away from the octagon for a bit, but showed no rust last night. McGregor needed only 40 seconds to bust the nose of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and then go on to finish him via first-round TKO at UFC 246.
McGregor opened the fight by missing on a wild left cross, but then used his shoulder in the clinch to draw blood from Cerrone’s nose. A brutal head kick followed and then McGregor dropped Cerrone and continued with a barrage of punches on the ground when referee Herb Dean stopped the fight. What’s next for McGregor? Well he did make mention of Manny Pacquiao at the pre-fight press conference. And immediately after the bout Floyd Mayweather took to Instagram to post a rematch announcement. Until then check out the highlights of McGregor at UFC 246 here.
