Marvel Studios dropped the first trailer for the latest installment in the Daredevil series, Daredevil: Born Again. By the looks of the trailer audiences are in for a hell of a ride.
Born Again, sees the return of Matt Murdoch, played by Charlie Cox and Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. This go around Murdoch is rebuilding his life, presumably away from the masked vigilante portion, while Fisk finds himself ascending the political world. A landscape set up to ensure the two adversaries will once again enter the metaphorical ring and beyond. Marvel’s official synopsis is scant but fans of the show can certainly read between the lines.
“Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
We will also see the return of series regulars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk.
