Rosalía is back with another new track and video entitled  “Aute Cuture.”  Directed by Bradley and Pablo, the duo best known for Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s videos.  The video follows Rosalía and her latex-clad “mystic beauty gang”.

A play on the phrase “haute couture,”  Rosalía told “The Fader” said she hopes the title gives the song a “sense of humor and strength.” In the video she name drops the Hamptons and Valentino, but clearly not in a complimentary manner. The song is much like Lorde’s “Royals” a song that famously critiques the bling mentality. Yet does so in the form of a catchy tune you can’t get out of your head.

In “Aute Cuture” Rosalía accomplishes the same. However, her target is high fashion. Set primarily in a nail salon as the beauty gang gets primped for a night on the town. They sing and dance to a reggaeton, Latin trap inspired track.

With over 20 million views of her first single “Malamente,” on her album El Mal Querer. Collaborations with the likes of J. Balvin on “Con Altura”. And an appearance at this year’s Coachella, Rosalía’s star is clearly on this rise.

Well, enough of the back-story. Peep the visuals here.
