The Latin Alternative Music Conference is returning in 2023.  This week, conference organizers released dates for both its virtual and live conferences.  More commonly known as LAMC and founded by Tomas Cookman, the conference focuses on all things Spanish-language alternative music — but does not stop there. It also includes and addresses the needs and issues of artists in rock, hip-hop, and electronic music genres. 

The Dates

Organizers released a statement indicating the conference will continue in its virtual form which is slated for April 26th to the 28th. The in-person activities are set to span five days and take place from July 11th to the 15th.

 

The Place

Latin Alternative Music Conference is switching things up a bit in 2023. The new venue for the in-person events will be at the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City.

 

What to Expect

Details about the conference are still in development, however, in information provided to ‘LLERO the organizers revealed that the Wonder Women of Latin Music honors, presented by Amazon Music LAT!N, and celebratir women making a difference in our industry will be returning.

 

How to Sign Up

According to organizers, last year’s conference saw over 100,000 tuned in online and over 5000+ from over 150 cities in 17 countries attending the conference and events in NYC.
