Welcome back Mr. Wick! John Wick is back for Chapter 4. The first trailer for the latest sequel in the franchise dropped today. Keanu Reeves stars as the hit man with a haunted soul and special set of skills.
Not much is known about the story line for this installment. The trailer is cryptic, as trailers are want to do. Reading the tea leaves, it seems John finally has a way out of “that life”, but it of course comes with strings, conditions and challenges. An official synopsis was released by Lions Gate:
“John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.”
Along with this path to freedom there will of course be tons of action, mayhem and witty dialogue which only John Wick and his band of supporting rogues can deliver.
John Wick: Chapter Four also stars Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
