Las Vegas becomes one big Octagon from July 7th to 11th as UFC International Fight Week 2015 touches down in the desert. This year’s event promises to be bigger and badder than all previous incarnations.

Highlights of the week will include the annual UFC Fan Expo. The two-day event kicks-off on Friday July 10th at Sands Expo and Convention Center. The event promises greatly increased fan-and-fighter interaction this time around with more fighters, Octagon Girls and talent walking the convention floor. Also fans this year will be able to experience what it’s like to be a fighter via the UFC Reebok Experience. The exhibit will feature hand wrapping, measuring hand speed, strength and power tests, and the chance to climb through the actual Octagon.

If you really want to get in on the action the Fan Expo will also include the UFC Gym Fitness Challenge with five events and $35,000 in prize money on the line with 1st place being awarded $10,000! If that’s not enough blood, sweat and a tears for you, there is also the 2nd Annual Ulti-Man 5K on Saturday, July 11th where Dana White himself will be running.

Naturally the week will be anchored in what else – fighting. Local promoters will be holding fight cards all week, the UFC will provide open workouts for UFC 189 on Wednesday July 8th and a live weigh-in on Friday, July 10th. The week will be capped off with a weekend one-two combination. First on Saturday, July 11th the featherweight title fight between Aldo Mendes and Conor McGregor will headline UFC 189 and followed by The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale Sunday July 12th both at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Of course, this is Las Vegas, so there will be no shortage of parties – pool, viewing, after and otherwise. For a full schedule of all the events during Fight Week check out ufcfightweek.com.
