DCFandome 2021 saved the best for last. That being the latest trailer for The Batman. The latest incarnation of the Dark Knight. Directed by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson under the cowl. This latest addition to the canon focuses on the early years of Caped Crusader and leans heavily into his detective skills – so audiences can expect less gadgetry. In terms of tone Reeves has been very vocal about the film’s look and feel being very noir driven. So expect a realistic, gritty feel.
Reeves, Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz appeared at FanDome to discuss the audition process, behind the scenes moments, putting on the super suits and of course, introduce the trailer! In the newest trailer we get a better look at Batman, Catwoman, Penguin and Riddler. Don’t believe us, see for yourself.
