Warner Bros. dropped a new trailer for its feature film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical In The Heights.
This trailer provides perhaps the best look thus far at the story. It includes new footage of each character’s story arc. How they intersect with one another and the neighborhood that anchors them.
Directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians), and is loaded with Latinx talent starring Anthony Ramos (A Star is Born, Broadway’s Hamilton), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, BlacKkKlansman), singer/songwriter Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera (Vida), Olga Merediz (Broadway’s In the Heights), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Broadway’s Rent), Gregory Diaz IV (Broadway’s Matilda the Musical), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black), and Jimmy Smits (Sons of Anarchy, NYPD Blue and Star Wars ).
