Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first trailer for The Mandalorian. It looks quite impressive with the look and feel of Star Wars: Rogue One. Disney’s official synopsis for the series is:
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the lone Mandalorian gunfighter. It also includes quite a powerhouse supporting cast, including Gina Carano (Deadpool) as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers (Rocky, Predator) as Greef Carga, Omid Abtahi (American Gods) as Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), as well as Nick Nolte and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).
