Marvel Studios dropped the first trailer for the next installment of the Thor franchise. Entitled Thor: Love and Thunder! Chris Hemsworth returns in the titular role as the God of Thunder/Nordic God/Avenger.
From the looks of the trailer in this outing our hero embarks on a journey to figure out what life is like post-superhero career. The trailer is filled with great footage of his cohorts, including Valkrie, Korg and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Yet, the highlight and cliffhanger is the first real look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as Mighty Thor! In the film, Foster comes to possess the hammer and the power of the Mighty Thor! Portman looks great in the one shot we see of her. It should be real interesting to see how her character is fleshed out and the interaction with her former beau now that the power dynamic has changed.
