Last night Albert Pujols reached yet another career milestone. Except this one ensures he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Pujols collected his 3,000th major league hit with a single off Mariners pitcher Mike Leake in the the fifth inning.
With the hit, the Los Angeles Angels slugger pulled into a tie with Roberto Clemente for 31st on MLB’s all-time hit list; he then later passed Clemente with his second hit of then night. Check out the milestone hit below.
