The official red-band trailer for Deadpool is here. After quite a witty and unorthodox marketing campaign (including a Burt Reynolds inspired first look at the suit, teaser teaser trailer and jacking the Fantastic Four trailer), Deadpool aka the “Merc with a Mouth” has finally provided a true first look at his flick. The trailer is full of great one-liners, guts and old school hip-hop. What else could ya ask for!!
Based upon Marvel Comics’ anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool hits theaters on February 12th, 2016. Don’t watch this at work folks.
