The show went on for the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Albeit in a different format due to COVID-19. The VMAs used a mix of pre-taped recordings, dose of virtual graphics and live socially distanced performances helped pull off the show. One of those live performances. None other than Maluma.
The reggaetonero from Colombia brought his tunes to the Skyline Drive-In in Greenpoint, Brooklyn Performing his latest hit “Hawai”, with Manhattan in the backdrop, the artist opened up sitting atop a motorcycle surrounded by backup dancers performing to a distanced audience watching from their cars. No sooner than he finished his set with, Maluma went on to win the VMA for Best Latin Artist. Check out the VMAs performance here.
