Nike has long known of and acknowledged the power of sport to inspire and uplift. In 2018 it does no less with its EQUALITY collection in commemoration of Black History Month. A line that supports inclusion for everyone by providing a platform for all athletes to celebrate and participate in this movement. The 2018 EQUALITY collection includes footwear, apparel and accessories in black or white with gold accents.

In 2018 Nike introduces select styles that feature graphics derived from “cymatics” – which is the visualization of sound waves. The cymatics of this collection however are of unique cultural significance. As they are drawn from a recording of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech (specifically, his “I have a dream” and “created equal” soundbites). Without further ado, here is the “Equality” collection.
