The UFC makes its return to Las Vegas. After a pandemic stint in Jacksonville, Florida it returns to the desert in what it is simply being billed as UFC Fight Night Las Vegas. The main event matchup will be between former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (19-4-1) and Gilbert Burns (18-3).
Brazilian jiu jitsu artist Burns is riding a hot streak of five straight wins. However, Woodley is known for putting a stop to a fighter’s win streak momentum. Woodley, the top-ranked former division champion, has ended four win streaks of at least five victories in his career. The No. 6-ranked Burns can put himself in title contention should he extend his hot streak to six victories. Something’s gotta give on Saturday night.
