The next big thing in boxing may be in the form of Gervonta Davis. Davis is undefeated and the current WBA junior lightweight champion. Last night he defended his title in great fashion.
First, he made a return to his home city Baltimore. The first time a champion has returned to the city to defend a world title since 1940. Then and more importantly he gave the home town crowd reason to rejoice. Davis dismantled and finished the hard-hitting Ricardo Nunez via second-round TKO. Check out the highlights here.
