6-Foods-for-Better-Sex

Let’s face it, for those of us that engage in physical fitness on a routine basis, looking good for los mujeres is in part, a motivating factor. Now once you’ve reeled them in, what about performance? Trust us, your diet can also make or break your sex life. Want to up your game between the sheets, incorporate these six super sex foods into your diet and you’ll be able to slap and “S” on your chest — and in her world it will mean an “S”.

1. Nuts

No pun intended here but nuts such as almonds and walnuts are high in the amino acid called arginine. Why is arginine important? Because it helps with the synthesis of nitric oxide, a compound in the body involved in generating erections. Need more of reason to work them into your diet, it is also well known that nuts generally fall into the good fats category, thus help reduce cholesterol.

2. Oysters

Sounds cliché for oysters to make an appearance on the list, given that they are famous for being an aphrodisiac. According to MensHealth.com Casanova reportedly consumed over 50 raw oysters a day. Yet, science supports their inclusion. You see, oysters are rich in zinc. Zinc is said to enhance libido by helping produce testosterone. Testosterone, which decreases in men over time after the age of 30, helps to increase sexual desire. Zinc is also important for healthy sperm production and blood circulation. Don’t know about you, but these are all reasons enough for us.

3. Oatmeal

While it may not sound sexy, you can consider oatmeal a super sex food. Why? Because it’s a testosterone and nitric oxide producer. Eating oatmeal is one of the few natural ways to increase testosterone in the bloodstream. Also, like nuts, oatmeal also contains arginine, thus enhancing the effect nitric oxide has on reducing blood vessel stiffness. Essentially it acts just like Viagra, helping relax muscles around blood vessels in the penis. When they dilate, blood flow increases so a man can maintain an erection.

4. Chocolate

We know, another food that has appeared on many a list, but there is a reason. Chocolate contains a compound called phenyl ethylamine. This compound releases the same endorphins triggered by sex, and increases the feelings of attraction between two people, according to the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.

5. Spinach

Looks like Popeye was on to something. Spinach is loaded with magnesium, which helps dilate blood vessels and in turn helps blood flow — everywhere. Better blood flow to the genitals, as you’ve learned creates greater arousal for men and women. Not a fan of the green stuff, no worries, other green vegetables like broccoli, brussels sprouts and kale are also good sources.

6. Tea

It’s well known at this point that tea is loaded with antioxidants, which help repair cell damage. Yet, one antioxidant, catechin found in tea also promotes blood flow all over the body for sex power and brainpower. Heads up though the bottled and sugar laded teas don’t work the same wonders, so stick to the fresh brews — hot or iced. Actually on the sugar tip, studies also show that getting too much sugar lowers the body’s ability to produce endorphins — yes those same endorphins, which lead to better sex. So best to stick to the unsweetened variety.
