Today Disney+ and Lucasfilm debuted the official trailer the Diego Luna Star Wars prequel series entitled Andor.
A first look teaser was released back in May at the Star Wars Celebration convention. The new trailer provides a much better look at what is in store for fans. Specifically, the origins and evolution of the titular hero, from street hustler to a spark of the now famous rebellion. Diego Luna returns to the role first seen in Rogue One, as does Forest Whitaker, who reprises his role as Saw Gerrera. We also get a look cast members Stellan Skarsgård (Thor) and Adria Arjona (Father of the Bride, Morbius).

Given the scarcity of Latino characters and actors across the Star Wars universe (save for Oscar Isaac). Luna and Arjona and their respective character’s presence are welcome additions to the canon. Diego Luna appeared on Good Morning America to premiere the trailer and described the show as “the beginning of the origins of a revolution…It reminds us what we’re capable of — what we’re all capable of.”
