The Revenant
It’s got star power in the form of Leo DiCaprio, the latest “it” director in the form of Alejandro Inarittu and a ton of award buzz with no less than 12 Oscar nods. Yet, its still a good old revenge tale which is why this is a must see for the fellas.

Deadpool
Our favorite “Merc with a Mouth” finally gets his own flick. In a rarity for the super hero genre its getting and R rating, meaning Ryan Reynolds has free reign to go bat-shit crazy. If the marketing and trailers are any indication, this one looks like it will deliver the goods.
March
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Continuing the superhero genre, the biggest, baddest comic book showdown will hit the silver screen when the Dark Knight of Gotham goes up against the big blue boy scout of Metropolis. Add Wonder Women to the mix and we have the long awaited launch pad for the Justice League flicks.

Captain America: Civil War
Also known as Avengers 3, this third outing in the Captain America franchise finds Steve Rogers at odds with Tony Stark aka Iron Man over the registration of superheroes by the government. June
Independence Day Resurgence
It took nearly 20 years, but the Independence Day franchise returns with a sequel. Most of the original cast returns (save for Will Smith). As we all expected the baddies from another world return, this time, bigger, meaner and seemingly more pissed off. Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth must help save the world.
July
The Legend of Tarzan
This latest iteration of the classic Tarzan tale, puts a different twist on things. This go around, we find Tarzan many years after he left Africa behind and settled in London. He returns to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary, unaware that he is actually a pawn in a Belgian captain’s deadly plot. Alexander Skarsgard plays the titular hero Tarzan, while his Jane is none other than Margot Robbie. Special effects look pretty badass, Skarsgard is jacked and Robbie looking pretty hot. This may have all the elements of a summer hit.
Ghostbusters
The iconic Ghostbusters franchise gets a reboot. This time with an all female cast. Led by funny women Kristin Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, with cameos from the original cast members such as Dan Ackroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson and maybe even Bill Murray. Color us curious on this one.
Assassin’s Creed
For all the gamers out there. The video game franchise Assassin’s Creed is coming to the big screen. Michael Fassbender will star as Callum Lynch who explores the memories of his ancestors and becomes a master assassin. Only to discover he is actually a descendants of a secret Assassins society. It appears they are really giving this the A-List treatment so this has the potential to go where no video game movie has before — a commercial and critical hit.
