Robert Downey Jr.’s Surprising Return
We’re not going to bury the lead here. In a clip that has now gone viral a twist that no one saw coming, Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the MCU – but not as Tony Stark. Instead, the beloved actor will be taking on the role of the infamous Dr. Victor Von Doom. Strolling on the stage in Doom costume only to take off the mask and make the reveal. A moment that had all of Hall H gasping and cheering their fanboy peak.
This casting choice has sparked intense discussion and excitement among fans, eager to see Downey’s interpretation of one of Marvel’s most complex villains.

Avengers: Doomsday
The next chapter in the Avengers saga was announced, promising a cataclysmic event that will shake the Marvel Cinematic Universe to its core. While details were kept under wraps, we know Dr. Doom will be the main villain with RDJ under the mask. Greater speculation involves who will make the Avengers line-up. Will Downey pull double duty; will Chris Evans or Hemsworth return to fold. Don’t forget Marvel now has access to Deadpool and Wolverine. Should be interesting.
