Bad Bunny Drops “Vete” and Goes Deeper than the Average

Fresh off a win at the Latin Grammys and some more Grammy nods. Bad Bunny has dropped a video for his latest “Vete”.  The song and video go deeper than your average Latin trap artist.

Directed by Clicka x Stillz, the opening shot shows parents arguing while their child peeks through a hole in the wall. It sets the stage, as the parents bicker about well…being parents. Making the eavesdropping child question his own existence. Is this semi-autobiographical? The beauty of it is that the question is not entirely clear. The remainder of the video shows the child pondering this very question as Bunny drops lyrics about abandonment, how success is the best revenge.

Now, the visuals do contain your standard sports cars and party scenes, yet in this case they appear muted and more subdued  (if you can believe that). But with “Vete” is looks like Bad Bunny in fact pulls it off. But see for yourself.
