Audience Crowd At A Concert Show

With the world slowly but cautiously opening up again.  Those starving to see live music are in luck.  Festivals big and small are firming up plans for their events. While it may not be business as usual, it will be as close it as music fans could hope for.  We curated a list of the major festivals in Latin music that will be going on with the show in 2021. Peep them here and get your selfie-sticks and ferris wheel tickets ready!

August

Baja Beach Fest

Baja Beach Fest 2021 drops over the span of two weekends. From August 13th to the 15th and August 20 to the 22. It’s got an all-star lineup in the form of J Balvin, Anuel AA and Ozuna as headliners. Launched in 2018 as a single-day event in 2018 in Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico, the now multi-day reggaeton and Latin trap festival is in its third year and growing. Evidenced by its two-weekend format that will also include performances by Karol G, Becky G, Farruko, Jhay Cortez, Paloma Mami and Rauw Alejandro.

Ruido Fest

Taking things to the mid-west, we get Ruido Fest going down in Chicago from August 20th to the 22nd.  Founded in 2015 by a team of partners that include Chicago production company Metronome. Chicago Ruido Fest is the first large Latin American alternative music festival of its kind in America.

This Latin Alternative music festival will be headlined by the likes of Los Fabulous Cadillacs, Café Tacvba and Panteon Rococo, but heavyweight artists such as Ivy Queen, Los Amigos Invisibles and La Dona are just a few of the artists that will also be appearing. This year the action goes down at Union Square Park in Chi-Town!

September

Neon Experience

In September we jump to the desert, Las Vegas to be exact.  Many of the headliners at Baja Fest – J Balvin, Karol G, Jhay Cortez and Rauw Alejandro and producers Tainy and Sky Rompiendo head a little further east from Cali, for a weekend of experiences and performances.

The event will take place in Las Vegas during Mexican Independence Weekend, from September 16th to the 19th, which traditionally has been a huge weekend for Latin music in Vegas.

What makes this festival different than the others? Different “experiences” will take place in various locales in the new Resorts World Las Vegas, including its entertainment venues Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Day club. Only in Vegas baby!

November

Ozuna Fest

In a rare occurrence on the festival circuit, Ozuna will headline and host his own festival. The reggaeton star will host a four-day fest in Cancún, Mexico.  The event is set to take place from November 4th to the 8th. The event will include headline performances, pool parties and night events curated by the Puerto Rican chart-topping artist himself. Ozuna Fest will kick off with an opening party with performances by Myke Towers, Wisin and Nathy Peluso who are also scheduled to perform.

December

Vibra Urbana

Rounding out the year is Vibra Urbana.  For the music fans in the Southeast, this formerly single day concert has bloomed into a two-day event.  Vibra Urbana Music Festival has announced its return to Miami on December 18th and 19th. This year, the outdoor fest will transform the Miami Dade County Fair & Expo Center into an immersive two-day experience in a new, open-air format. Vibra Urbana will also have a two-day version of the festival set to take place in Orlando from July 31st to August 1st.
