We got our first peek at Kate Kane aka Batwoman back on the Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover. A brief but memorable appearance. Enough to garner the CW ordering a season of Batwoman. Played admirably by Ruby Rose. The series looks to have promise. Why you say? The first peek channels the dark, brooding, grounded in reality nature of the early seasons of Arrow, which oddly enough were inspired by the dark, brooding, grounded in reality nature of Chris Nolan’s Batman films.
