Sports Illustrated released their annual Swimsuit Issue this week and made history in the process by having not one, but three different cover girls for the first time in the history of the issue! To celebrate the historic edition, SI is taking the party on the road by hosting “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Swim City” events in New York and Miami. ‘LLERO got to tag along for the ride in New York to take in all the sights, sounds and tales about the the iconic photo shoot! The Altman Building played host to Swim City in New York, with fans lining up to meet the SI swimsuit models.
Larger than life photos adorned the walls of the Altman building with models such as Ronda Rousey and Nina Agdal…

Nothing beats the real thing. SwimCity did not disappoint, as SI swimsuit models such as Robin Lawly were one of the many who appeared to meet and greet fans.

SI also brought out the big guns with a supermodel panel in the form of Lili Aldridge, Hannah Davis, Gig Hadid and Nina Agdal

But SI is also looking to the future as potential 2017 models such as Daniela Lopez also were in attendance where fans could vote on who should make the cut in 2017. Let’s just say the folks at ‘LLERO cast quite a few votes for Daniela.
