Gennady “GGG” Golovkin made a triumphant return to the ring last night. In his first fight since a controversial loss to Canelo Alvarez. GGG returned to action at Madison Square Garden. Outside the ring Golovkin made many changes, new trainer, new promoter, new management team. Inside the ring it seems nothing has changed.  Despite a competitive second and third round, Golovkin asserted himself in the fourth. Landing an unorthodox left hook to the forehead of Rolls, which put him on shaky ground. Golovkin followed it up with a more conventional left hook that Rolls face first to the canvas. Post fight, he told announcers “I’m ready for September. I’m ready for Canelo. Just bring him, just ask him. I’m ready. If you want big drama show, please tell him. I’m ready to bring back the big-drama show.” Until then check out the nice work GGG put in last night.
